- Ten yuan note from the Bank of Communications (one of the major banks in China until 1940s), issued at Hankow (a major city in central China) in 1913. "Specimen" in English and in Chinese are stamped on both the front and back sides in parallelograms. Note that six holes are punched on this bill which is believed to shown that this banknote is an sample. All Chinese writings on the front are translated into English on the back side.
