- STAD AKEN/ELBE / SIGNETVM, BVRGENSIVM, VRBIS, AQVENSIS, FIDELIS, FILIAE, ECCLESIAE, MAGDE BURGENSIS / [[image]]crest of Stadt Aken. Under a high Gothic arch, between two pinned round towers with pointed roofs, on a square base stands a bishop with his right hand raised and fingers stretched out for oath, holding the crosier in his left hand. Near each of the towers is a small floating red and white shield with the head of the holy Mauritius. [[/image]] / DIESER SUTSCHEIN VERLIERT SEIN GÜLTIG-KEIT 3 MONATE NACH BEKANNTMACHUNG.
