Description
This is a small metal device with four slots, marked 20, 5, 5 and 10, and inscription that reads “DÉPOSÉ NUMISMETRE ‘ETALON’.” In operation, a coin would be placed in the appropriate slot, and if of the correct weight, it would depress the rocker balance.
