Six glass bottles in cardboard box marked “E. de Haen Chemical Works List, Seelze near Hanover (Germany).” Eugen de Haen (1835-1911) was a Ph.D. chemist who established a chemical factory in List, a suburb or Hanover, in 1862; and moved to the village of Seelze in 1902.
