- This is a hand scale with 6.5-inch brass beam, brass index, shallow brass pans, and four disc-shaped weights (three are marked ED and 1/2 Louis, 1 Louis, 2 Louis; a smaller one is probably a different set). The whole is in a chamois-lined oval case.
