Description
This is an iron steelyard with a pear shaped weight. The “BEMIS & CALL, CO /... MASSACHUSETTS” inscription at the short end of the beam refers to the Bemis & Call Hardware & Tool Co., a firm established, as such, in Springfield, Mass., in 1855. The beam is also marked “29”.
