Celluloid Scrip

Description:

The inscription on one side of this celluloid disc reads “1.00” while that on the other reads “THE BUXTON AND LANDSTREET COMPANY.” Buxton and Landstreet was the firm that owned the several company stores affiliated with the Davis Coal and Coke Company mines in West Virginia.
