Description
Large shouldered flagon or pichet on a short, applied, tapered base with a double-acorn thumbpiece and a separate, unattached, circular pointed, flat lid. Incised lines around base of gallered rim and shoulder; molded bead around neck. Strap handle with flat lower terminal; five-knuckle hinge. Underside of flat bottom has raised concentric circles at center. No marks.
