Half Pint Measure

Description:

Baluster measure with double-volute thumb piece; half pint size. Fleur-de-lis extension is burnt to the flat lid, which has two, deep, concentric, incised lines. Plain body has a galleried rim and flared base. Tapered, S-scroll handle with bud terminal; diamond- or lozenge-shaped attachment, no strut. No marks.
