Half Pint Measure

Description:

Bristol Low or West Country measure; half pint size. Plain, squat conical or ovoid body; plain, everted rim with pouring spout; molded, flared foot. Tapered, S-scroll handle has an arched and S-curved thumbrest; upper terminal attached at top of rim and short lower terminal near bottom of body. Rim exterior with four stamps, capacity mark "1/2 PINT" in raised serif letters inside a serrated rectangle. an upside-down "11", and possibly two verification marks. No other marks.
