One-Twelfth Pint Measure

Description:

Small, lidless bulbous or bellied spirit measure advertising "D & J M\cCALLUM'S / Perfection / OLDEST AND BEST"; 1/12 pint size. Beaded, galleried rim and cast circular flared foot. Large center bead flanked by a pair of thin incised lines at shoulder. Tapered, thin, S-scroll handle with incurved thumbrest and lower pointed terminal with oval attachment at seam. Rim exterior stamped to left of handle "1/12 PINT" in incuse sans serif letters. Bottom exterior stamped with an incuse "X" over an inverted triangle.
