Description
Souvenir or commemorative circular plate engraved with a bust-length portrait of Pasquale Malipiero (1392-1462), 66th doge of the Venetian Republic (1457-1462) in the well, encircled by his name in a banner and punchwork sun or star motifs; single-reeded rim is stamped with arches or scallops above tripartite (probably strawberry) leaves. No foot ring. Hole at top with twisted, rusted wire for hanging. No marks.
