Description
Small, screw-top, flattened oval, japanned container with a small, milled-edge, spool-shape cap. Black or dark blue finish is scratched in script on one side "J. F. Savage / Milford / NH". Made in three pieces, the body has a folded vertical seam at side and the low-domed, stepped shoulder and flat bottom have folded edges. Cast threaded opening is soldered at top center. No other marks.
