- This medal was awarded by the Wisconsin State Agricultural Society and the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association in 1850 to Wisconsin cabinetmaker, Peter Glass, for his Rosewood Work Table. As a farmer in Wisconsin, German immigrant, Peter Glass, applied his native training as a marquetry craftsman to make award-winning furniture.
