- Description
- Repousse chased, wavy-sided, rectangular case with side-hinged lid. One side (hinge at left) features an asymmetrical, Nouveau-style design of streamers issuing from five-petaled flowers engulfing the head of a woman, while the opposite side has symmetrical C scrolls framing an empty raised central reserve. Convex strike plate at bottom. Gold washed interior. "STERLING" is struck in incuse sans serif letters within top right C scroll. No other marks.
