Serpentine-sided, rectangular case with side-hinged lid and applied decoration of a horse's head, facing right, on one side (hinge at right); other side is plain. Strike plate at bottom. Gold washed interior. Collar outside is struck on both sides with raised, open-eye trademark to left of "STERLING" in raised sans serif letters.
