- Description
- Sawtooth trammel consisting of a rectangular hanging rod or bar with square hook at bottom end that has a swelled-center, pivoting handle riveted through it and an adjustable, sawtooth extension with twelve ratchets ending in a fan- or shell-shaped hook; circular bosses at ends of handle and band at top of extension that loops around the hanging rod. Handle is stamped incuse with what appears to be "T T" in gothic or Old English letters above "1879".
