Description
Small, oval box or trunk with a low-domed lid attached by an offset hinge at back; exterior painted dark blue. No handle, clasp or lock. Lid has a wire-rolled rim and box has a plain-edged collar with raised bead below. Lid and box each have one soft-soldered lapped seam; the lid top and flat box bottom have projecting folded edges. No marks.
