REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” Other inscriptions read “THIS BLADE IS MADE OF / HIGHEST QUALITY SURGICAL / CHROME STEEL BY A UNIQUE / PATENTED PROCESS. / MONEY REFUNDED IF NOT / SATISFACTORY.” Cooper Products Co. filed for a trademark in 1932.
