Description
A charcoal and watercolor sketch on beige card paper of six American soldiers walking across a field with a village in the background. The soldiers are in olive drab uniform and are wearing helmets. Two of them are carrying backpacks and rifles (presumably M1903 Springfields). A village can be seen in the background at center with smoke coming from some of the buildings. To the right of the village is a stand of green trees.
