Oil on illustration board. Portrait of Sergeant David V. Binkley. Army Service Ribbons for Decorations and Medals include the Distinguished Service Cross. Binkley wears three unknown gold collar disks and three gold chevrons on his upper right arm sleeve (indicating his rank of sergeant). He also wears a M1917 helmet with chinstrap. He holds a rifle (possibly a M1903) in his left hand and wears a watch (with a brown band) on his left wrist.
