- Oil painting on white illustration board. The painting is a bust portrait of Brigadier General William W. Atterbury. Atterbury's head is facing forward, but his body is slightly turned to the right. There is a leather strap stretching from his top left shoulder down across his chest, but what the strap is attached to is unknown. There is no distinguishable insignia on this portrait, but Atterbury was the Chief of Railroad Transportation and received a Distinguished Service Medal during his time in France during the Great War.
