- A three-quarters portrait of Major General Idwal Hubert Edwards depicted as Major General G S C. An oil painting on an illustration board. A white man, Major General Edwards has brown hair, brown eyes, and is wearing an olive drab tunic. He has eight military ribbons on his left chest, a U.S. officer collar insignia, a General Staff Corps star on his lapels, two stars on his shoulder straps indicating his rank as Major General, and an Army Aviation badge above his ribbons (partially obscured and not quite as detailed to discern which one). His signature is seen on the lower right portion of the portrait. The bottom portion of the sketch is not as detailed or complete. A portion of the skin of the board is torn off in the back. Some wear and tear on the edges. The identifications of the eight ribbons are given below proceeding from the top row to the bottom and from left to right: Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Victory World War I, American Defense Service, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign, Order of the British Empire, French Legion of Honor, and Croix de Guerre.
