Army Service Ribbons for Decorations and Medals include: Unknown Ribbon (solid red, possibly Légion d'honneur), Spanish Campaign, Sampson Medal, and Unknown Ribbon (angle of ribbon makes design hard to read appears to include bands of blue, yellow, red, possibly WWI Victory). McAndrew wears a officer and General Staff Corps pins on his collar and a Sam Browne belt. He also has a moustache.
