- Oil on illustration board. Portrait of Sergeant Herman Korth. Korth wears a olive drab overcoat with the collar turned up and a overseas cap. He also wears a M1910 haversack. A brown strap not belonging to his haversack crosses over his middle (possibly a leather strap attached to a M917 mounted canteen). Korth's right hand is not filled in with color. Catalogue card reads: "Painted in France by Jos. C. Chase. Presented in 1922-1931.Collector - A group of civillian engineers, officers in World War who served with him in A.E.F."
