- From October 6- October 9, 1964 Lady Bird Johnson campaigned in 28 cities in 8 eight states from Virginia to Louisiana to gain support for Lyndon Johnson for President. At the stops along the tour gimmicks such as pennants, buttons, and matchbooks were handed out to supporters.
