Description
A broadside with likeness of Martin Van Buren and Charles Francis Adams as candidates for President and Vice President. Van Buren and Adams ran on the Free Soil Party Ticket which opposed the expansion of slavery in the territories. Zachary Taylor, of the Whig Party, won the election of 1848.
