Like many other pottery manufacturers in Ohio, Knowles, Taylor & Knowles began making Rockingham and yellow ware pottery. It wasn’t until nearly eight years later that they began producing ironstone tea sets, dinner services, toilet ware, cooking ware, accessory pieces, and pitchers with Britannia lids. This ironstone pitcher is decorated with a transfer printed sparrow and leaf design in a blue and white color scheme.
