Description
This zither, also known as an epinette des Vosges, was possibly made by August Fleurot in Vosges, France, around 1850 to 1895. It has a trapezoidal shaped body, with five strings (two melody and three drone strings), wood nut and bridge, 14 metal frets, one heart-shaped sound hole and one four-petal flower-shaped sound hole, carved out pegbox for 5 friction pegs, and a rectangular head.
