Description
Three different strips of lace are combined to make a collar. The outer 3/8” wide scalloped edge consists of bobbin lace braids and wheat ears. The center 1.5 inch wide band is a Honiton type bobbin lace made with simple leaves and braids which are connected with open twisted needle made mesh. Inner collar is 2” x 14” made with simple needle made motifs in Point de Gaze style mesh. The center neckline has a 7.5 inch long sewing edge of machine made tape lace.
