Description
One of two fragments of canvas work upholstery fabric. Needlework chair covering, Linen canvas worked in tent stitch with two shades of wine colored wool yarn forming a large conventionalized floral pattern, suggesting the Renaissance period, and gold silk yarn forming the background and pattern detail.
