Full width sample length of Cheney Brothers printed "Zantine Silk", 1917. Plain weave, soft and drapey fabric. Allover "conventionalized Egyptian" modernist-inspired imbricated geometric design in lavender, blue, green, tan, brown, dark red, and navy blue. (W. 32 in., L. 8 in.) Mfr. # 56238. Small sample cut (.00B; 8" x 32") also in collection.
