Adolphe Low & Co., NYC, of raw silk as imported by the firm. Catalog #s H6180-6194 Both object tags read: "China inferior (???) / 6193 / acc 14,993", and card reads: "Raw silk, inferior tsatlee-- A common China silk, in hanks as imported. / Gift of C. Adolphe Low & Co. / 6,193 / New York".
