Sign of the Pagan lobby card

Description:

Original lobby card for Universal International Pictures’ 1954 motion picture, Sign of the Pagan. Douglas Sirk directed this biographical drama about the life of Attila the Hun. Jeff Chandler, Jack Palance, and Ludmilla Tchérina star in this film. This card depicts Marcian conversing with his fellow Romans.

Lobby cards were once a popular form of advertisement for motion pictures. The publicity departments of Hollywood studios created cards featuring striking images of their latest films and delivered sets to theatres across the country.
