Description
Sepia tone motion picture star card of American silent film actress, Juanita Hansen. She began as one of the Sennett Bathing Beauties and later appeared in a variety of serials through the late 1910s. Hansen was best known for her roles in The Magic Cloak of Oz, Martyrs of the Alamo, and A Clever Dummy.
The card is from a set of 70 movie star cards inserted into packages of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate. The Ghiradelli Chocolate Company was founded by an Italian named Domenico Ghiradelli. Over 160 years later, Ghiradelli is the oldest continuously operating chocolate maker in America.
