Description (Brief)
This sheet music for the song “Short and Sweet” was written and composed by Caroline Lowthian and published by Chappell and Co. of London, England. The music was dedicated “to Mrs. E. Wallace Evans” and the Lowthian was known for her previous compositions such as the Venetia Waltz, Fahrwohl Waltz, Mirage Waltz, Black and Tan Polka, and Mother Hubbard Polka. The cover features a drawing of a man bidding farewell to his lady.
