- This sheet music for the song “Eyes of Blue” was written and composed by Ed Coleman, and published by American Advance Music Company of New York, New York, in 1905. This sheet music appeared as a supplement to the “New York American and Journal” on Sunday, November 19, 1905. The cover features an illustration of a blue-eyed woman in a blue feathered hat, using a parasol to cover her face, with only her eyes peeking out from behind the brown parasol. There is also an inset photograph of Miss Julia Sanderson, who performed the song in the show “Fantana.”
