Description
This Lamar Green basketball card is number 9 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Phoenix Suns forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Lamar didn’t play Basketball until his Jr. Year in High School,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Lamar Green played five seasons for the NBA's Phoenix Suns from 1969 to 1974. For the 1974-75 season, Green played 15 games for the New Orleans Jazz before joining the ABA's Virginia Squires for the rest of that season.
