- This Simmie Hill basketball card is number 184 in a series of 264 that was manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. of New York, New York for the 1973-1974 ABA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of San Diego Conquistadors forward Simmie Hill. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Simmie’s hobby is dancing,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
- Hill played for the Los Angeles Stars, Miami Floridians, Dallas Chaparrals, San Diego Conquistadors, and San Antonio Spurs in his five-year ABA career. In the 1972-73 season, while with San Diego, Hill shot 39.1 % from three-point range. The percentage was the best in the entire ABA that season.
