This Steve Kuberski basketball card is number 2 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Boston Celtics forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Steve Trades Elbows with Opposing Forwards,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Kuberski played nine seasons in the NBA, winning two NBA titles as a Celtic (1974 and 1976). Kuberski played all but 80 of his 568 NBA games with the Celtics. The other 80 games were split between the Buffalo Braves and Milwaukee Bucks.
