Description
This John Tresvant basketball card is number 26 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Baltimore Bullets forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “John has been hampered by knee injuries,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Tresvant was drafted by the St. Louis Hawks as a fifth round pick in the 1964 NBA Draft. During his nine seasons in the NBA, Tresvant would play for the Hawks, Bullets, Detroit Pistons, Cincinnati Royals, Seattle SuperSonics, and Los Angeles Lakers.
