Description (Brief)
This sheet music is for the song “Baby Your Mother (Like She Babied You).” The song’s lyrics were written by Andrew Donnelly and Dolly Morse and the music was composed by Joe Burke. The sheet music was published by Leo Feist Inc. of New York City in 1927. The great cover features an illustration of an old woman reclining at her window, and seeing an image of a mother with a young child in the clouds outside. The song was a tender foxtrot ballad, and the cover bears the Feist slogan, “You can’t go wrong with any Feist song.”
