This sheet music is for the song “Pack up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag and Smile, Smile, Smile.” George Asaf wrote the lyrics to the song and Felix Powell composed the music. This sheet music was published by Chappell & Co. Ltd. in 1915. The song was a World War I marching tune, and became popular for boosting morale. The cover features a quote from Vide Press that reads, “What is best described as a philosophy song, is now being sung and whistled by the troops as they march along. We believe it will become overwhelmingly popular.”
