- Description
- Tapered cylindrical pail partially covered by a slanted shield with a square, hinged-lid spout soft-soldered at center that has a brass wire cloth or mesh strainer. Wire bail handle is looped around the ends of the wire reinforcing the rim front; arched, molded strap assist or lifting handle is soft-soldered opposite spout near bottom. Pail made in three parts, the body has two vertical folded seams and the flat bottom has a soft-soldered folded edge. Rim, shield and handle have molded wire edges; all edges of spout and hinge are plain. No marks.
