Description (Brief)

This commemorative silk program is from a concert by Arturo Toscanini conducting the NBC Symphony Orchestra, on October 14, 1939 in NBC Studio 8-H, Radio City, in New York, New York. The program was broadcast live on the NBC Blue Network and featured music by Schubert, Strauss, Haydn, and Bach.

Internationally renowned conductor Arturo Toscanini (1867–1957) led this popular orchestra that was featured on weekly radio broadcasts and popular sound recordings.
