Description
This sheet music is for the song “If I’m Dreaming,” with original score composed by Jerome Kern, lyrics by Guy Bolton and Clifford Grey, and additional music by Joe Burke and lyrics by Al Dubin. It was published by T. B. Harms Company in New York, New York, in 1930. The song was featured in the First National Pictures / Warner Bros. 1929 Pre-Code film Sally, directed by John Francis Dillon and starred Marilyn Miller, Alexander Gray, Joe E. Brown, and Pert Kelton. The cover features and image of Marilyn Miller in ballet costume and toe shoes on point, who performed the song in the film.
