”Wagon Wheels” was featured as the title song in the 1934 Paramount Pictures Western film, Wagon Wheels, directed by Charles Barton and starred Randolph Scott and Gail Patrick.

There is an inset image of American singer and actor Everett Marshall (1901-1965) on the cover. Marshall performed this song in the Broadway revue, Ziegfield Follies of 1934 at the Winter Garden Theatre.
