Description
This test of memory consists of twenty green cards containing fifteen stories of various lengths. They are categorized as either exposition, narration, or description. The subjects are:
1-The Migration of Birds
2-Our Jumping Equipment
3-The Old Angler’s Cottage
4-The Buried Treasure
5-A Schoolroom
6-An Anecdote of Mark Twain
7-Anthony-over
8-Christopher Colombus Risdale. This card is adapted from Edward Eggleston, “The Hoosier Schoolboy,” published by Charles Scribner’s Sons.
9-The Wind and the Son
10-My First Fishing Excursion
11-Smoke
12-The Schoolroom. This card is adapted from Charles Dickens
13-The Forest Ranger. This card is adapted from Overton Price.
14-First Thanksgiving Day.
15-Sir Francis Drake. This card names Charles Kingsley at the bottom.
