- This folder contains multiple documents related to an Articulation Test.
- 1- This document is entitled “Articulation Test I: Speech Improvement.” It was published by the Authority of the Board of Education, City of Detroit, 1924. It was copyrighted in 1924. It provides instructions for giving the exam. It was primarily designed for use in kindergarten and first grade. The twelve-page booklet is bounded in cardstock. It contains words with a black and white illustration of each word.
- 2- This document is entitled “Score Sheet-Articulation Test 1.” It lists blanks for sixty different questions and provides information at the end on how to find the score.
- 3- This document is entitled “Articulation Test II.” It lists 45 sentences.
- 4- This document is entitled “Score Sheet.” It lists space for 45 different answers for Articulation Test II.
- 5- This document is entitled “Articulation Test III.” It lists 37 different sentences.
- 6- This document is the score sheet for Articulation Test III. There are two identical copies of this document.
- 7- This document is entitled “Articulation Test IV.” It lists twenty-five different questions. Annotated in pencil at the top of the sheet it says, “This test is used at the end of the first semester to find out whether pupils associate correctly sound and symbol.”
- 8- This document is entitled “Articulation Test IV.” It is identical to the proceeding document except it does not include the annotation.
- 9- This sheet is untitled and appears to be typed on a typewriter. It discusses different things associated with speech.
