Description (Brief)
Electric curling iron with 61" long cloth-insulated cord, 2-prong plug stamped "Spring Action" and "Patented / in U.S.A. / 660W 250V". Wand is stamped "Rock Island Mfg. Co. Rock Island, Ill. Licensed Slaughter Pats." The patent refers to US Patent 1725229, "Curling Iron," issued 20 April 1929 to Tronc Le Roy, assigned to Maggie May Slaughter, both of Chicago.
